Remo Mould classification

1.Injection molding mould

The plastic is first heated and melted in the heating barrel of the injection molding machine, and then pushed into the mold cavity through the nozzle and mold casting system under the push of the injection machine screw or piston, and finally hardened and shaped in the cavity, which is a simple process of injection molding. The mold used for injection molding is called an injection molding mold. Injection molds are mainly used for the molding of thermoplastic products, but in recent years, they are increasingly used for the formation of thermosetting plastics. Injection molding accounts for a large proportion of the molding of plastic products, so about half of the production of plastic molding dies is injection molding. Injection molding dies are often used in TV housings, keyboard buttons, and more.

2, extrusion molding

Also known as the nose. The plastic in a viscous state is passed through a die having a specific cross-sectional shape under high temperature and high pressure, and then cooled and shaped at a lower temperature, and a molding method for producing a continuous profile having a desired cross-sectional shape is called extrusion molding. The mold for extrusion molding of plastic is called extrusion molding die. Commonly used in bakelite switches, porcelain dishes and other products.

3. Press molding mould

Referred to as the stamper. The plastic raw material is directly added into the open mold cavity, and then the mold is closed, the plastic becomes flowing under the action of heat and pressure and fills the cavity; then the plastic is hardened and shaped due to chemical or physical changes, and the method is called pressing Molding, and the mold used is called a press forming mold. Most of these molds are used in the molding of thermoset plastics, as well as in thermoplastics. There is also a cold press forming press mold which is not heated for forming a polytetrafluoroethylene blank.
